Placing ads in POIdo is efficient because:
- Advertisers pay only for verifiable target actions of users;
- Virtual billboards can be placed where no real-world billboard can be placed;
- Ads are contextual, so only interested users will see them;
- Ads are location-based, so only users within the ad display range will see them.
Depending on the type of device there are the following ways to display ads:
- On a screen with a map as text (static or crawling) or a virtual billboard (a digital version of a real billboard);
- On an address search page or any other text or graphic page of an application as text, crawler, banner or logo;
- As a static or interactive object opening a pop-up window with a description of the advertised object and action options. For example: call (with a phone number), order a service, add to tabs, see the next level of info.
